Prior to your appointment, you may discuss with your therapist which pressure suits your needs.
Deep Tissue: is a series of slow, specific and deliberate strokes and is best suited for postural deviances and abnormal muscle tone. They will continue to apply pressure until the muscle pushes back against them. The muscle will then slowly begin to release and allow the therapist to move along it. The pressure used should not be painful, but should walk a fine line between pleasurable release of tension and a pain-blocking response from the body (tensing up).
Swedish: is given to increase blood circulation, easing the tension in the body’s muscles and improving the muscles’ flexibility. It stimulates the skin as well as the nervous system to soothe the nerves, reducing both emotional and physical stress. In fact, the massage is a staple in most stress management programs
Myofascial: Myofascial release means different things to different people, but it usually involves applying pressure – either via a therapist's body part like a thumb or elbow or a tool like a foam roller or even rolling pin – to tight muscles and fascia in an effort to get them to “release” and alleviate pain.

HIMALAYAN SALT MASSAGE
Dating back many years, natural salt has used to enhance healing. People visited salt caves to find relief from a wide range of health issues, to enhance breathing to improve skin health and to reduce stress. Himalayan salt “stones” are heated to provide a unique therapeutic massage that offers salt’s healing benefits during a massage. Here are five benefits of a Himalayan Salt Stone Massage:
• When there are too many positive ions in the body it leads to inflammation. Being massaged with Himalayan salt stones helps balance the positive ions with negative ions. This can help reduce inflammation, which causes pain and illness.
• Himalayan salt contains more than 80 trace minerals that are absorbed by your body during a hot Himalayan Stone massage, helping to replenish minerals lost during hard workouts or ongoing stress.
• Himalayan Salt is naturally antimicrobial and helps to detoxify and nourish your skin and body.
• Your skin will feel more refreshed and lightly exfoliated by the glide from salt stones that are smooth and rounded.
The salt stones are heated and when combined with Therapeutic Massage, a signal is sent to the body to turn off the stress response and turn on the relaxation state of being.
