Practicing yoga helps each of us to appreciate and understand how the body moves, how the mind can affect the body and the joy that yoga can bring in creating balance.

With an extensive background as a licensed massage therapist, I understand the benefits of bodywork and the therapeutic elements of yoga. I incorporate pranayama (breath), asana (poses) and meditation into each class. As we age, our bodies take on different challenges. Practicing yoga can assist in meeting those challenges head on. Please join me by walking onto your mat. Deborah is a Member of Yoga Alliance with trained styles in Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal and Pilates Mat.

Restorative yoga enables deep relaxation with the help of yoga props to support the body to help achieve physical, mental and emotional balance. The poses are done in a seated or lying position. Yoga Nidra is the ultimate relaxation technique for relieving stress and tension held in the body. The practice of yoga Nidra allows a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleeping.

This 90 minute class will be held in the salt room and is limited to 6 participants ($30pp).
