Helpful Things to Know Prior to Your Visit
Salt Room Sessions:
Our Salt Room Therapy sessions are 45-minutes in length and begin promptly on the hour. It is a group session room, where up to six people may be in the salt room at any given scheduled session. We ask you arrive on time so the session may begin as scheduled. Please understand, late arrivals (15-minutes past session start time) will have to wait until next salt session begins, or rebook your session for another time.
What to wear for your Salt Session:
Regular clothing, and clean socks! For sanitary reasons, shoes and bare feet are not permitted in the salt room. If you forget your socks, or prefer not to take your shoes off, don’t worry, we provide foot/shoe coverings. The salt room is climate controlled and kept cool, you may want to bring a sweater. We do provide blankets for your session. Our chairs are equipped with music and earbuds, however feel free to bring your own earbuds.
Infrared Sauna Sessions:
Our Sauna sessions are 30-minutes in length, and begin every 45 minutes. This allows us time in between sessions to clean the sauna and prepare for the next guest. If you’d like to stay in the sauna longer than your scheduled 30-minute appointment, you may purchase additional minutes at $1/minute. Please let us know in advance if you’d like an extended session.
What to wear for your Sauna Session:
The less clothes the better since you will be producing a good amount of sweat! We recommend a bathing suit, or your birthday suit. We provide towels, however please feel free to bring your own towel. (Visit our Sauna page for more detailed FAQ.)
Arrival Time:
On your first visit to our spa, we recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time to complete the necessary paperwork. And, to relax a moment before your session begins. For returning guests, we suggest arriving 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment.
Changes to your Appointments:
Your appointments at LaCURA are very important to us. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24-hours-notice for any changes, or cancellations, to your salt room appointment or infrared sauna appointment. All our policies are designed to benefit our guests and to provide the best quality and tradition of excellent service for our established and future clients.
Cancellation Policy:
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, it prevents another guest from enjoying our services. In the event we do not receive the required 24-hour notice for appointment adjustments, cancellations, or no-shows, your appointment is subject to a cancellation fee amounting to 50% of the cost of the scheduled service. Payments:
We accept cash, debit card, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and LaCURA gift cards.
Spa Etiquette:
Our goal at LaCURA is to provide a quiet, relaxing healing space. We ask your refrain from using your cell phone once entering the spa; putting your phone on silent. We recommend not taking your phone or other electronic devices into the salt room or the sauna, due to the salt and heat these therapies produce.
